Mark Kammerbauer is a German-American musician, Master of Science [Urban Studies] and Diplom-Ingenieur [Architecture, TU]. He has founded the interdisciplinary project platform www.nexialist.com, creating an environment for sound art, architectural acoustics, and live performance. His goal is to formulate new methods of synergy of tactile, visual and audible perception in the built environment. He is currently a PhD student at the Bauhaus University Weimar researching natural disasters and catastrophe in connection to the city and social vulnerability.
